The first time I realized that water has an altering power was in 2012 when I was staring at the mediterranean sea. It was around 6 pm on a summer day; I was watching the sun set into the pure deep water.
I couldn’t get enough of the scene; the sea waves were overlapping calmly but powerfully and the sun rays were like glitter floating on a buoyant surface.
It felt like I was looking at a massive moving palette of colors and shades made up of cerulean blue, titanium white, and Naples yellow light. In those moments, I set out to capture this allurement in my life.
